Press: WTF LLC celebrates Wisconsin by hosting the best grassroots musical event Madison has to offer on Saturday, May 23, 2015. The fifth annual Wurst Times Festival -- Right to Wurst edition, a working class friendly event, hosts homegrown talent and food!
Once, again, the High Noon Saloon and The Brass Ring, located at 701 E. Washington Ave., open their doors and turn up their speakers beginning at 11 a.m. and groove on until 7 p.m. Located in the heart of Madison, these venues are inseparable to the spirit of the city and literally bring music to your ears.
The fifth annual Wurst Times Festival showcases the genius of many Madison bands on multiple stages! The High Noon Saloon will feature your favorite MAMA's musicians amplified to perfection with their state-of-the- art sound system. The Brass Ring stage will feature local singer-songwriters and acoustic acts, and our outdoor stage will captivate you with great performances from a variety of musical acts.
Now that we've satiated your musical sensibilities, we are also in tune with your appetite! We have locally made, flavorful brats from Hosely's Meats! Vegetarians can also sing their praises to Tofurky for once again providing vegetarian brats! Want a pick-me-up in the morning? Arrive early for free JavaCat coffee.
Our event focuses on sweet harmony rather than cacophony of divisiveness and we want everyone to be able to afford to participate and celebrate Wisconsin unity. Wurst Times Festival is a working class benefit. Brats will be priced at $3 (or 2 for $5) and event beer at $4. A suggested $10 monetary donation, discounted with non-perishable food items, will be solicited at the door. Proceeds feed the mouths and musical souls of those in our community and will be split between Second
Harvest Foodbank and the Madison Area Music Association which, provides musical instruments and funds music education programs for Madison-area youths.
